DAY 14. Acholi People Lost the Battle but War Against them Continuous.

WORLD-WIDE PRAYER FOR THE PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS

40 DAYS OF PRAYER, FASTING AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE, TO PROTECT ACHOLILAND AND SAVE THE PERSECUTED ACHOLI PEOPLE OF NORTHERN UGANDA.

DAY 14 OF 40 DAYS. Acholi People Lost the Battle but War Against them Continuous.

66). Prayer For Acholi People Not to Lose the War Continuously Waged Against them; Yes, They Have Lost the Battle.

Heavenly Father, you know very well, that Acholi people have for over fifty years, since the brutal killing of Brigadier Pierino Okoya and his dear wife, have been fought in different ways, mostly physical wars, based on lies, and schemes orchestrated against them by those who are still alive and continue to play the war games, but Acholi people have lost many souls. Lord, we pray that you revive the hopes of Acholi people, restore their strength and esteem. Give them Victory over their enemy, to make them retain their only defence left, Acholiland.

67). Prayer For Divine Intervention in THE Face of Acholi Conflict and War Waged Against Continuously Being Waged Against them.

Ezekiel 37:4-14
The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD AND set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed, they were very dry. 3. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So, I answered, “O Lord GOD; You know.”

Again, He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5. Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. 6. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.”

7. So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
8. Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” 9. So, I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

11. Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12. Therefore, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves and bring you into the land of Israel. 13. Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.’”

Ephesians 6:10-18
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

1 Corinthians 15:57-58
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Revelation 15:2-5
And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. 3. They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvellous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! 4. Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.” 5. After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.

68). Prayer for the Unity of Acholi People to stand Strong and Stand Together in the Face of Conflict and War Being Continuously Waged Against them.

Heavenly Father, the war currently being fought against the Acholi people, is war against Acholiland. First and foremost, we pray that Acholi people will know that the war started against them over fifty years ago, is the same war continuing against them; and worse now, to dispossess them off their last defence – Acholiland. We pray Lord, that you continue to make Acholi people remain united under one nation – Acholi, in unity of purpose, unity of your Spirit, and unity of Faith in You, and Faith in Jesus Christ, who created them and put them on the Land that is called by their name, Acholiland.

Psalms 133:1-3
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is; For brethren to dwell together in unity! 2. It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. 3. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing—Life forevermore.

1 Corinthians 12:12
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

Philippians 2:1-4
Therefore, if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfil my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord of one mind. 3. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Heavenly Father, you will not allow Acholiland to be taken away from the Acholi people, in whatever shape, strength, trick or wealth, the enemy of Acholi People use to dispossess them off their God-given land. We pray in Jesus’ name, that you protect Acholi people on their land. We also pray, that even any piece of Acholiland purportedly bought must be restored. We also pray, that whosoever force their ways, to possess any piece of Acholiland will lose it. Amen.

2 Samuel 9:5-10
Then King David sent and brought him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar. 6. Now when Mephibosheth[a] the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said, “Mephibosheth?” And he answered, “Here is your servant!” 7. So, David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.” 8. Then he bowed himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?” 9. And the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, “I have given to your master’s son all that belonged to Saul and to all his house. 10. You therefore, and your sons and your servants, shall work the land for him, and you shall bring in the harvest, that your master’s son may have food to eat. But Mephibosheth your master’s son shall eat bread at my table always.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

2 Kings 9:22-26
Now it happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” So, he answered, “What peace, as long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?” 23. Then Joram turned around and fled, and said to Ahaziah, “Treachery, Ahaziah!” 24. Now Jehu [c]drew his bow with full strength and shot Jehoram between his arms; and the arrow came out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot. 25. Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up, and throw him into the tract of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember, when you and I were riding together behind Ahab his father, that the LORD laid this burden upon him: 26 ‘Surely I saw yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons,’ says the LORD, ‘and I will repay you in this plot,’ says the LORD. Now therefore, take and throw him on the plot of ground, according to the word of the LORD.”
