DAY 4. Prayer Against Familiar Spirits, Spirits that Cause Local Accomplices Traitors, Corrupt Leaders, Land Grabbing-Agents, and the so-called Investors, in Acholiland.
22). Prayer Against Familiar Spirits
Leviticus 19:31
‘Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Heavenly Father, we are aware, that those Land-grabbers, at higher echelon of governance in Uganda had since resorted to using various evil spirits, including familiar spirits to control and grab people’s land; they have therefore, recruited deployed and funded local agents, even now using some Acholi people knowingly, or unknowingly, deploying familiar spirits to confuse, control and grab Acholiland. We deplore, and condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the evil acts to render Acholi people landless.
Mark 11:22-24
So, Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Heavenly Father, we take authority against all familiar spirits operating in Acholiland, bind them and paralyse their power with the Blood of Jesus. We cast out all familiar spirits confusing Acholi men and women, set free all those possessed by familiar spirits, and send those spirits, to the lake of fire, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Leviticus 20:6
‘And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.
Heavenly Father, we set to deliver those who were duped to take up the use of familiar spirits, to gain wealth, or popularity. We pray that by your grace, you deliver them. We also pray, that those who knowingly or unknowingly received, entertained familiar spirits, and got unwanted gains through their evil works be forgiven. But Lord, to those who intentionally cling to the use of familiar spirits to cause death, pain, loss, and land-grab from Acholi people, let their end be with their owners the devil, in the lake of fire, for they have intentionally made Satan their master and do not want to repent and turn away; we pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Leviticus 20:27
‘A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.’”
Heavenly Father, the Acholi people have suffered loss of everything including their dignity, for the last forty years, and are now left only with Acholiland that You gave them, as their only valued possession; some young men and women born forty years ago do not know good life, Godly life, free from medium, witchcraft, sorcery, or idol worship knowingly or unknowingly, induced in them from birth or from their youthful life, either by their parents, or through the corrupt rulers. Lord, we pray, that those ignorant people, who were born into evil, be delivered, and set free; but Lord, the perpetrators, those spirits that intentionally led Acholi people to serve the devil, and worship idol, and do evil be bound and thrown into the lake of fire, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
23). Prayer against Agents, Corrupt and Traitor Spirits
Exodus 22:18
Thou shalt not suffer a Witch to live.
Heavenly Father: You have not minced Your word. We believe in You and trust Your word. You said that the word that comes out of Your and You send forth does not return to you void without fulfilling its purposes and to prosper. We therefore pray in faith and in your word, that those who authorised witchcraft to become legal in Uganda, causing many people to err, may bear the consequences and greatest judgment. May those witches who have caused loss of lives, brought about pains, and caused the Grabbing of Acholiland go down, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
2 Timothy 3:1-4
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
Heavenly Father, we pray that those corrupted leaders of Uganda, and Acholi people who are being misguided will repent and be forgiven; but those ruthless, arrogant leaders, who have corrupted their ways and continue with the policy of land-grabbing should not last, in Jesus’ name.
We come against every spirit that causes leaders and local leaders to become corrupt, become traitors, and disown their own people, by drawing back the resolve and the promised policies of their nations. We bind such spirits, paralyse their powers from working in the lives of Acholi people in Jesus’ name.
Mark 14:10-11
Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them. 11 And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So, he sought how he might conveniently betray Him.
Heavenly Father, we pray that every spirit that causes some of the Acholi leaders, especially younger generation leaders, who have seen only one leading authority in Uganda in the last forty years, lose their grip on them. We come against the corrupt spirit, and cast out to the lake of fire, all the evil spirit that cause them to betray their own people, and cause to support the grabbing of Acholiland, that they will repent and turn away from their corruption and be forgiven. Any defiant, arrogant, and unrepentant spirit causing the leaders of the Acholi community, who sell the Acholi people, and cause Acholiland-grab, must be judged and punished, in Jesus’ name.
2 Peter 2:12
But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption,
Heavenly Father, we still seek your face for some of the Acholi people who turned out to be corrupt people, we know that for them to become corrupt, those in illegitimate authority had first to impoverish the people for the last forty years; an evil strategy to subdue the people and break their economic backbone. Father, we pray that it is only You who know and righteously judge Your people. We therefore repent on behalf of those Acholi people and ask you for forgiveness. But, Lord, those who are arrogantly resistant to repentance and boldly continue to support and encourage corruption, even to the giving away of Acholiland corruptly, for sale, or to allow land-grabbing, they must come under the judgment of the White Throne, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
24). Those who Receive Bribes, Blood-money, Money for Corruption; You are Condemned.
Matthew 27:3-10
Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!” 5 Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed and went and hanged himself. 6. But the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because they are the price of blood.” 7. And they consulted together and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in. 8. Therefore, that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. 9. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced, and gave them for the potter’s field, as the LORD directed me.”
Heavenly Father, we pray enforcing Your word, that any spirit cladding the hearts and bringing evil confusion to the minds of Acholi young and grownup men especially, causing them to live a defeatist life and become like beggars, even to fall victims of bribery, conmen and accepting Blood-money must be bound, and rendered powerless, in Jesus’ name. Father, we plead the Blood of Jesus upon Acholi men and women to protect them from evil arrows of different kinds. We call upon you Lord, to deploy Your Ministering Angels on Acholiland for protection and guard of Your people and Acholiland.
Heavenly Father, we pray that any Blood-money must not be accepted by any Acholi man or woman, if anyone violates and accepts Blood-money with the intention of selling Acholiland, let it not be considered as cost for land but air. Let the arrogant person, disobedient to the will of the community be accursed, and never live to see the land again. If s/he be banished from the land and go to live elsewhere, if s/he returns to repent, may s/he be forgiven, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
