DAY 1: Introduction to the Prayer.
WORLD-WIDE PRAYER FOR THE PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS
40 DAYS OF PRAYER, FASTING AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE, TO PROTECT ACHOLILAND AND SAVE THE PERSECUTED ACHOLI PEOPLE OF NORTHERN UGANDA.
DAY 1: Introduction to the Prayer.
1). Prayer Points 1-15. Identifying the Enemy and Praying Against the Spirits of Darkness.
Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We are aware that Satan has deployed principalities, and spirits of darkness in Uganda, particularly in the north of the country to steal, kill and destroy the Acholi people, who are faithful Christians, and obedient followers of Jesus Christ; and to steal, decimate and render Acholiland nonproductive. We therefore fervently war against those spirits, bind them, paralyse their powers, and put them to no effect, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
2). Acholi people are the second largest ethnicity in Uganda, occupying the northern part of the country; living peacefully on Acholiland, and with their neighbours, obediently serving and worshipping the Lord. But they are provoked, disturbed, and always embattled, and killed, due to that evil spiritual invasion. Acholi people need Freedom, and total deliverance. They need Christians around the world to help them, through serious prayer and spiritual warfare for divine intervention, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
3). Acholi people are majority Godfearing Christians, who are very hardworking on their land, Acholiland; but there are sustained threats to dispossess them of their God-given land. Let us pray very fervently, to drive the evil spirits behind stealing, killing, and destroying peoples’ properties and making them poor, out of Uganda and Acholiland, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
4). Acholi people are naturally intelligent, generally professional, industrious, and friendly, but for the last forty years, they have been intimidated, denied education, denied financial resources, and denied equal opportunities in Uganda, because of the evil spirits operating in the country, more in Acholiland, to drive them away from their land, oppress, subdue, and generally impoverish the people. We pray that those spirits will have their hands, disabled, they will be cast out, and imprisoned forever. Amen.
5). Acholi people are naturally born leaders, good leaders indeed, honest, generally compassionate, non-thieves, skillful, and respectful; but they have been seriously marginalized for the last forty years. Acholi people have no part to play ever at the higher levels of governance in their own country, Uganda. We fervently pray that any occupation by foreign spirits, deployed by Satan, must end sooner than later; they’re not independent; not free, foreign spirits must be detained, and locked down the bottomless pit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
6). Acholi leaders who try to rise to higher levels of service in any sector, especially security leadership, in Uganda, in the last forty years, have died without medically diagnosed causes of death; so, Acholi people believe that their leaders are being eliminated, just killed. This trend has been steadily continued. We pray that the spirit of death unleashed to steal, kill, and destroy will go back to sender, and stop short of Acholi people, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
7). Acholi women and girls have for the past forty years been raped, some gangraped, and mostly by the soldiers; the vice has continued until recently worsened by people called Balaalos, understandably, they are represented in the State House of Uganda. We pray that the abomination being carried out intentionally, to humiliate the Acholi people, continue to infect them with the HIV/AIDS disease, weaken, or kill them to decrease the population of Acholi people in Acholiland, with the intention of land-grabbing will stop immediately, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
8). Acholi youths, and young men are being arrested, disappeared, and some forced to join the army, against their will and interest, but taken to unknown warfronts without the knowledge of their families. These disturbing, abominable criminal acts are being carried forcefully by the ruling authority in Uganda, against Christians families, without consultation with parents of the next generation of Acholi people, whose destinies must be in total agreement with their parents. Let us pray for divine intervention in each case, for the release, and uncompromising freedom of the young Acholi people, to freely decide their own destinies, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
9). Acholi people have been denied economic resources and meaningful jobs for the last forty years, and population detained in concentration camps for over twenty years; most of the younger generation do not know any other governing system apart from the ruling NRM party and the ruling army generals. Acholiland has not been financed, for the landowners to invest on their land for agricultural production. Because Acholi people have lived on their productive land for generations past, since their ancestors, but they have now been subjected and induced to a life of poverty and regret. We pray for divine intervention against the spirit of dictatorship and corruption, that twist the minds and hearts of leaders to vacate, be bound and paralysed in Jesus’ name. Amen. Lord, may you deliver, empower, and bless Acholi people richly, so that instead of chasing wealth, they continue to praise and worship you, passionately, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
10). Acholiland is a communally owned property of the Acholi people. Some are called Ancestral Land, Cultural land, Royal land, Community land, yet others are called Registered land; in all of these cases, no individual Acholi man or woman has the right to sell any piece of land, which is on Acholiland, worse, without the knowledge, and or authority of the community, or Acholi elders. Acholiland was passed to the current generation to keep it for the unborn Acholi people, no one has the right to sell any piece. We pray that those who intentionally impoverished the Acholi people with intent, and now turn around with the trick to buy land, will stop. We fervently pray against the evil spirit driving them to be bound, paralysed, and ejected from Acholiland without delay. Any resistant spirit must be chained, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
11). Acholiland, Ancestral land, Communal land, and other Landmarks, cannot be moved, or changed, by anybody; not even the Acholi elders, who know Acholi culture, and traditional practices very well. Acholi ranch is not for sale, wherever it exists within Acholiland. Government attempts to encroach on Acholiland, whether ranch or any communal land must cease forthwith. We pray for divine intervention of the Lord, to curb the criminal provocation from those in power, and the current ruling authority above, with their wealthy mentees and turn them back, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
12). There is wanton interest and evil plot by those in power in Uganda, together with the wealthy people they have created and empowered, to take over Acholiland. Now, they are using all available means, reasons, and excuses, to carry out their device. That was their ultimate reason in the first place, for cooking out propaganda for taking over, power by force of arms, and rule by deceit. We pray that the Lord, the just judge, will judge them straight away, and force them to abandon their plot, or will perish, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
13). Those who are grabbing Acholiland are reported to be planning to make it part of an imaginary Tutsi Dynasty in Uganda, which they are vigorously pursuing, and ready to do anything to establish it without shame or fear. We pray that the Lord God, who gave us the individual entity to occupy specific parts of the world, including different ethnic groups in specific areas of Africa, will exclude Acholi people and Acholiland from becoming part of an evil empire, to be curved out of innocent blood. We pray that the Lord God Himself who is holy, will intervene divinely to stop such illusive dream of marginalization, in Uganda or Africa, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
14). Those seeking to take over Acholiland, using force, or elimination of the landowners through other means, or even using blood money to corruptly buy their way, have no legitimacy of owning any piece of Acholiland. We pray that the LORD God Himself will protect Acholi people divinely and empower them to refuse any blood money intended to be used to buy land, in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
15). Those who are seeking to dispossess Acholi people of Acholiland have used all means of corrupt practices to reach the positions they have been occupying for the last forty years, and have massively acquired wealth, illegally. Heavenly Father, you are the just Judge; are they worthy to be there at all, or even call the name of Pan-Africanism? We pray, that you will protect Acholi people, Acholiland, Uganda and the whole of Africa against corrupt people who can stop at nothing, to achieve their evil interests.
