80). Prayer for Acholi Intercessors and Acholi People to Adopt Spiritual Warfare Tactics, and Practices, Against their Fiercest Enemies.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of Grace and Mercy, submitting ourselves to You in the obedience of our heart and in humility of our spirit, seeking your face, for Your Divine empowerment of Acholi People’s hands, against their fiercest enemies, the enemy of God. We pray that we resist Satan until he flees from us; his cohorts: the principalities, the powers of darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places, Principal Demons, evil spirits, and their agents, are bound and their powers, paralysed, from operation in Acholiland in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11. Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this, in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Daniel 9:1-21

In the first year of Darius, son of Xerxes (a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian kingdom-2 in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. 3. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. 4. I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:

“Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.

7“Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. 8. We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against you. 9. The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; 10 we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. 11. All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you.

“Therefore, the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against you. 12. You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem. 13. Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favour of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. 14. The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him.

15. “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16. Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.

17. “Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favour on your desolate sanctuary. 18. Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 19. Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.”
18. While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and making my request to the Lordmy God for his holy hill- 21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice.

Spiritual Warfare Prayers for Acholi Intercessors and Acholi people 

• Prayer for Spiritual Warfare

Heavenly Father, we can sense the power of darkness trying to surround us. The enemy is trying to take the background that Jesus has already won. We are aware of his strategies and tactics. He’s back at it again trying to knock us off course, and off Acholiland. We recognize that he is up to no good again, but to dispossess Acholi people of the Gift of God. 

We come to You again and seek to walk in Your authority and power. In Christ, we can do all things and that includes not bending to the pressure the enemy is trying to put on us. We know that this is a battle in the spirit and that our weapons of warfare are not physical.

With Your power and the Holy Spirit, we can pull down and destroy what he is trying to bring against us. We refuse to listen to his lies that he cannot be beaten. He already was defeated by Christ Jesus! Hallelujah! The weapons we need to succeed are Your supernatural Power, and we need to stand up and speak against him! We need to declare what Your Word says about this situation. In Jesus Name. Amen.

We bind and rebuke all the enemy’s plans and attacks against us! We call them cancelled! We declare that we are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. No weapon formed against us Acholi people shall prosper!

We stir ourselves up like David did and bless You, Lord! We thank You for the victory that is ours through Jesus! We refuse to bow our knees in defeat despite all that the devil is bringing against us! You are our Protector and our Refuge Heavenly Father! We will fight the good fight of faith and we will win, in Jesus’ name. Amen.!

Holy Spirit of God, Lord, continue to help us pull down all the negative thoughts the enemy tries to plant in our mind. Help us to walk in love and refuse to be offended which will hinder the effectiveness of our prayer life. We ask for Your supernatural peace during this time. Your peace which surpasses all understanding. Please let it permeate every area of our lives like a shield in Jesus Name!

We speak light into the darkness and declare that all the plots, ploys, lies, and strategies of the enemy be exposed for what they are! Show me Holy Spirit if there are any footholds or entrances we’ve allowed to remain open so that the enemy got into our lives. We praise You now that Jesus has defeated the devil in completion! Yes, through His life, death, and resurrection, the enemy has been stripped of all of his power.

We know that he will never stop coming against us but greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world! This means that we can always defeat Him because You fight for us Lord!

We stand on Your Word and Your promises until we see the victory manifest in our situation! Your Word, angels, the blood of Jesus and His Name, is all we need to win, every time. We are children of God of and You promised to never leave us. That means You are always with us and that includes every spiritual battle!

Thank You for giving us spiritual armour in order that we may fight successfully during spiritual warfare! The fiery darts of the enemy and anything else he throws at us shall not harm us. Nothing can take away the triumphant win Jesus Christ had over the devil!

Help us to continue to build our faith in You and Your Word. As we spend time in Your presence thank You for charging is up with confidence and helping us get refreshed! Fill us with boldness to continue to stand strong in You and fight the devil whenever he raises his nasty head!

Give us wisdom to know what to do during every battle we face in Jesus Name! With You on our side, we cannot fail! Glory to Your Name forever! In Jesus Name we pray, amen!

Father, we raise our hands to You in adoration. You are our Heavenly Father, and we praise You. No matter what the enemy is trying to bring against us shall not succeed. We are victorious in Christ! We can call on You in trouble and You rescue us. You are our Deliverer, and the battle is Yours. Holy Spirit please help us walk out overcoming the enemy right now. Amen.

Dear God, all that Your Son did for us in Christ enables us to win every battle. In Christ we are more than conquerors. It is because of what He did on the Cross and through the Resurrection that we are free from all the plots of the enemy! We stand firm in our identity in Christ. No weapon formed against us shall prosper! Greater are You who are in us than he who is in the world! We are walking in victory, and I am standing in Your strength! The devil is defeated because of who we are in Christ! Thank You! In Jesus Name’, amen.

Lord, we are going through a tough time. The enemy is getting the best of us and we are tempted to throw in the towel. However, I look to You and Your Word. We remind ourselves that although we are in this world, we are not of it! You can do the impossible in the situation we are in. Despite the winds and the waves, You are bigger! Strengthen us and empower us to war against the enemy! Our hope is in You and I stand on Your promises of victory! Amen.

• Prayer Against The Powers Of Darkness

Dear God, fill us with Your power right now. If there is anything that we are doing to hinder You working in and through us, please show us. We release anything stopping us from experiencing triumph over the devil and his darkness. Fill us with hope and peace. Help us to fight the good fight of faith. We bold as a lion and more than conquerors! Push the darkness out with Your light, in Jesus’ Name. We speak confusion into the enemy’s camp and

praise You that we can rest in Your faithfulness! Amen.

• Strategic Spiritual Warfare Prayer

Father God, life is not easy and You never said it would be. The enemy looks like he may be winning in this battle that we are facing. Help us to rise above their jesting. Let us not be put to shame Lord. We bind and rebuke all the plans of the devil right now. Fill us with Your strength so that I might fight this war brought against us. I stand in Christ and the victory is ours. We shall not be ashamed nor forsaken. You are our Victory Father! In Jesus’ Name, amen.

• Battle Prayer In The Spirit

Father, we reach out to You and seek Your strength. Fill us fresh and new with Your power. Help us and guide us in this battle! We will give You all the praise and glory for the victory! Remind us of how great You are! We choose to not look at what we see, but we wage this war by faith! Defend and preserve us according to Your promises. Thank You for hearing this prayer and coming to my rescue! Hallelujah! Amen.

• The Enemy Is Defeated Prayer

Lord, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth! We once were lost but You found us. You brought us up out of the miry clay and rescued us! Remember Your promises for the enemy have come against us! We refuse to bow to his schemes. We will not give into his lies that we will lose this spiritual warfare! We bind and rebuke him right now, in Jesus’ Name! The powers of darkness and his kingdom will not prevail! Jesus has already defeated him, and we rest in that victory! We are victorious and it is from this position in the spirit that we will win this battle! Amen.
